Hi Catherine,thanks for the suggestion. I listened to that song, but the vocals aren't all that clear and easy to understand. I DO have a retro song already in mind though. :cool:
As for the Madlax fic, it most certainly will be finished, but right now I'm in the midst of my Appleseed fic, and I want to finish it before posting.

I just got into fanfiction and got lucky cause I found links to your site. So far I've read most of the stories there and I liked all of them but I enjoyed 'Eclipse' and 'A Page Re-written' the most(Noir and Madlax daifan desu). I can't wait to read more chapters (esp. a page re-written). Keep up the good work. arigato desu! BTW,, your site rocks!!

Well hello again Deadly Bride, glad you came back to visit.
As for writing advice (and my forum will have a spot just for fanfiction and writing) here's what I would say:
If you don't have a clear idea or point you want to make with a story, don't write it. Wait until you know what it is you want to say or how you want things to end, and write to make that happen.

In my first Noir fic, I wanted to get the two of them together, and I wanted to show more about Kirika and Mireille. I had certain events that had to take place, and built dialogue around those events. I also knew the conclusion of the story before I ever wrote it; it makes writing a lot easier that way.

I didn't even mean to write Eclipse, but I was listening to a soundtrack and all of a sudden the jail scene with Kirika and Droger came to mind. And I thought, what about Kirika's past? Why not write a story that would explain more about that, and had a bit of mystery to it? Again, I sat down and wrote out a storyboard of scenes that had to play out. Now I have to finish writing the scenes and the dialogue.

I hope this helps a little, but look at it this way: if you get into a car and just start driving, you could wind up somewhere nice. But you could also get very lost and very frustrated. So when writing, have clarity first, and your story will follow. :smile:

I have a question :I started almost a year ago a noir fanfic (its in german).
Now, in the last days, I wanted to go on writing, ( I have about two three pages till now.) but I did not had a clue what to write. So I thought, asking someone, who had already written some, would be a good idea, maybe you can give me some inspiration. Okay, so my story till now: It plays direct after the end of NOIR. They had back arrived in Paris, the next morning. Mireille is standing near the window. and let blow the wind through her hair.shes thinking about what they are gonna do now. the point is, I don`t if I should let end them up as couple. I mean, they have a very deep bond, but I don`t know, if its THAT deep (want to write it IC), it would be very nice if you could help me in a way.

Well, I've heard of the Rose Bride, but a Deadly Bride is new to me :smile: I'm glad you like the site and the AMV's. As for making an Otome AMV, I certainly will one day, but I may wait until the show is over first. As for the blushing in anime, it's what some people do when they are shy about being with someone they like. Or it may be a flushing of red in the cheeks because they got a little excited too, lol. I've certainly had a few people make me blush in my life!

Hi! I really love your site. It`s good to see, that I`m not the only one from Germany! I stumbled upon your site when I was searching in general for Shoujo-ai. First I got to the Yuri Studios, then I saw your link and thought, "Why not take a look at it?" Believe me, I don`t regret it!:biggrin: I bookmarked you. I just wanted to say, how great your AMVs are. My favorite is (since yesterday, before it was "Anything") now "Haunted". When I saw it the first time, I . how can I say. :eek: started to cry. Really! I`m not kidding. I mean the music, the scenes from My Hime, everything fittes absolute lovely together. It`s absolutely awsome! Just because of the Video I got the song! It remindes me about one time, when I was desperate in love (my loved one didn`t love me :sad:.) Anyway, can I make a request here? I`d would be cool, if you could make some AMVs of My Otome. Its a very funny show, (I can laugh about Arika all the times!) Erstin-chan is so cute, don`t you think? I read the raws (and I got some french scanlations, too) of My Otome. I have to say, it they had made it like the Manga, there would be a lot more yuri in it!:ohmy: Believe me! It`s totally different that the anime. It seems that they are all a little bit older, and Mashiro has the Blue Saphire Gem, and. ok, this would take too long, to explain all the differences beetwen anime and manga, so go and get them, then you know what I mean. just google it, like "Mai Otome Manga (raws) download" . Or, if you ask me, in a "nice way" :rolleyes: I can mail you them. Ok, just one thing: Can somebody tell me, whats with all the blushing?! I see it in a lot of scenes, even in some, where I think, "WHY?". Ok, would be cool if someone could explain it.

Oh god, you're one of the few people who lets me go to sleep at night knowing that there is going to be yuri tomorrow. Hahaha. We have the exact same opinions on most everything, Yumi+Sachiko and Kirika+Mireille are my favourites. :3

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts! I didn't know the link to HAUNTED was broken, it's been fixed. I am still working on the Bakuten stuff and hope to have it back online soon. As for the Sol Bianca fic, it didn't go anywhere, it's still here. If anyone else spots any problems, please let me know, you can always e-mail me. I always respond to my e-mails. I notice that a few links went dead, so maybe you should check those (Haunted AMV, and Bordello manga scans to name a few.) The manga scans is also a good idea, (Reallly great idea!!!) maybe you can throw in some links as to where to get yuri scanlations.

Oh! You updated "A Page Re-written" and "Return to Dreams"! I love "A Page Re-written", especially the way you write Madlax's speech patterns, and the chemistry between Madlax and Vanessa is amazingly sweet *and* sexy. Vanessa's attraction to Madlax vs her "common sense" that everything has just gone crazy, makes this stand out from the usual "girl meets girl, falls in love whilst ignoring Real Life Issues" plot which may be romantic, but rather colourless beyond the warm fuzzy factor.

Anyway, I'm really glad you continued this fic! Please keep up the good work.

Yay! I love your 'Anything' music video. I was on shoujoai.com and they had links to shoujo-ai AMVs so I downloaded it. Now I'm getting the series. Awesome site! Your description for Utena is perfect, I still don’t understand and I have seen them all. I especially like your fanfics, they are extremely impressive and you have a way with words that make emotions stir, like a song or movie. The AMVs are impressive as well, I always thought the song “Poison” by Groove Coverage would be good for Noir, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin, lol.
